What happens during a training session?

The Nauti-Dog uses the Safe Harbour Training Method, a unique approach built around real-world coping skills for your dog and you. Sessions cover things like handling vet visits calmly, riding in the car, meeting new people and animals, and learning how to behave in everyday situations that stress most dogs out.

Owners also learn practical skills during training, including how to do basic dental care, nail trims, and proper restraint at home. It is hands-on education for both ends of the leash.

Will this actually work for my dog?

Training works for dogs at any age and any stage. If your dog pulls on the leash, ignores commands, jumps on guests, or struggles around other dogs, we can help. It also works great as an add-on during a boarding or daycare stay. We target specific behaviors while your dog is already with us, so they go home making real progress.

How much does training cost?

Lessons are $65 per hour. We also offer discounted packages for owners who want to commit to consistent progress. Ask us about package options when you book.

All training clients need proof of current Rabies, Distemper (DHPP), and Bordetella vaccinations at check-in. Bring your dog's favorite treats. For board-and-train sessions, bring their food and a comfort item from home.
